Southwest Silicon Technology was founded in 1999 to serve the West, Southwest and Central regions of the United States. SST, along with its two sister companies, one in NEW Bedford, MA and the other in Holland, now has the capability to serve all of our customers needs, both Local and GLOBAL. SST is ISO 9001:2008 certified; and our highly skilled staff has over 60 years of experience in semiconductor material manufacturing, engineering, quality control and sales.
 

The Facility

The facility is a 6" and 8" polishing and wafer reclaim plant that was specifically designed to meet our customer's increasingly demanding LPD expectations and produce surface trace metals levels that approach current detection limit. Our 14,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing floor space contains 1000 sq. ft. of raised floor, ultra-low particle cleanroom with custom-designed, automated controls fort temperature and humidity. The high purity DI water system produces optimal resistivity, low trace metals and low TOC. SST maintains the traceability of our customer's material by using our custom-designed computer software package, which ensures reliable data collection and wafer tracking.

Our facility was designed to produce very low defect counts and "detection limit" trace metals. The highly trained and skilled staff, along with our motivated and dedicated operator corp., are focused on how we can always provide you, the customer, with more reclaim cycles and a cleaner, flatter wafer. It all comes down to one thing...the higher the quality, the more we can save you on the cost of your overall test wafer program.
